Grayson Allen returns from his suspension for tripping a player after one game

Duke guard Grayson Allen returned from his suspension for tripping an opponent on Wednesday night for Duke’s game against Georgia Tech.

The suspension, which was initially called “indefinite,” lasted one game.

Duke went 0-1 in Allen’s absence, losing to Virginia Tech last Saturday.

Allen’s punishment came after a game against Elon when he got tangled up with Elon guard Steven Santa Ana on a play and extended his foot afterward to trip Santa Ana. The play was third such incident during Allen’s time at Duke, causing Mike Krzyzewski to suspend him.

Here’s the trip that caused the suspension:

According to ESPN, Duke’s game against Georgia Tech will be Krzyzewski’s last before leaving the team to undergo back surgery.
