Corning, the company behind Gorilla Glass, announced that it will present Gorilla Glass 2 at the Consumer Electronics Show this Monday.Corning is keeping the details on Gorilla Glass 2 to itself for the time being, so we’ll have to stay tuned until CES.
Gorilla Glass has already made a name for itself as a high-quality display material used in large and small screens alike.
It’s never been confirmed as the glass being used in the iPhone 4, but David Pogue wrote in 2010 that “Apple buys practically all the Gorilla Glass that Corning can make. Apple is the world’s No. 1 consumer of it.”
