Google has pulled its flagship Android phone, the Galaxy Nexus, from its online store due to an injunction won by Apple.Last week, a judge granted Apple the injunction blocking sales of the smartphone, citing patent infringement. It went into effect Tuesday.

Google confrimed with the The Verge that it planned to issue a software update that would fix some of the disputed patent issues. The update, Google said, would disable users’ ability to search the phone and just allow them to search the web.

The search giant is hoping to get the phones back up for sale sometime next week.
