Dealmap, a startup that shows a grid of nearby daily deals, was just acquired by Google.

The acquisition is a smart way for Google to enhance web and mobile location search results..

Dealmap launched last year and has grown to 2 million+ users and 85 million monthly visitors to its partner network.
