Goldman Sachs’ Portfolio Strategy Research group is out with its latest US Monthly Chartbook.It includes a list of 40 stocks that offered the most upside relative to the firm’s equity analysts’ price targets.

There’s a clear theme that jumps out: bet on anyone extracting stuff from the ground.

The list is dominated by oil, gas and metal manufacturers.

But watch out for No. 1.  It’s a hated name that aims to stomp out the oil and gas players.
