Gold Rallies 2%

With Greece moving towards a new government, investors turned their attention to Italy where 10-year government bond yields are exploding and prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has denied rumours that he is stepping down.

Hard to sa if this is driving it, but gold for December delivery is up 2.2% to $1,795.60 per ounce today. Here’s how its been trading:
