Gmail's Next Feature Could Finally Help You Cope With Email Overload

Email overload is a problem for lots of people. Google has been trying to fix this with “Priority Inbox” which algorithmically tries to figure out which emails are more likely to be important for you. It’s been pretty successful.

Now Google has announced a new feature which goes deeper. You’ll have your emails sorted into several tabs, like “Important first”, “Unread first”, “Starred first” and “Priority Inbox.”

This sounds like an evolution of the same idea behind Priority Inbox, and a good one. Here’s what it looks like:
