WATCH: Co-Anchors Freak Out On Live Television When They Learn The Network's Sports Reporter Won $2.5 Million

A Canadian news network aired the grand prize drawing in the BC Children’s Hospital Dream Lottery on live television.

And the winner was a familiar name: Barry Delaney Deli Deley of Port Moody, British Columbia. Barry Deley is also a sports anchor of the very Global News network airing the drawing.

And that’s when the anchors lost it. On live television. So they called up their co-worker to tell him the news. Interrupting him during his grocery-shopping run at the Superstore.

After some back-and-forth banter, the three realise that Barry Deley was, in fact, the winner of either a $2.5 million estate or $2 million in cash.

The male co-host sarcastically says, “I’m gonna read sport s**t here. Because I still have to work for a living.”

“What’s that like?” Deley jokingly responded.

Deley continued to have fun with his sudden newfound wealth, even taking a shot his cities’ overpaid goalie.

“I’m making 20% of what Robert Luongo is making this year. That is amazing.”

The fun begins at about the 1:36 mark.
