A Girl Scout troop leader in Los Angeles was arrested on accusations that she stole $6,000 of money her 6-year-old daughter raised selling cookies with her friends.Ana Isabel Juarez, 30, was arrested last month after Girl Scout representatives found charges for nail salons, Nordstrom and Victoria’s Secret on her troop leader debit card, CBS Los Angeles reported.
The 10 girls in the troop sold more than 500 boxes each in hopes that they would win an American Girl doll and a limo ride, CBS writes.
Juarez hasn’t commented on the charges. She has a previous arrest for embezzlement from 2001, according to the website.
