George Zimmerman Wins Motion To Postpone His Case

George Zimmerman, the man who shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, has been awarded his second request to extend his case.His motion to continue was granted Tuesday morning, according to documents released by the Florida State Attorney’s Office.

Zimmerman is now scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 3.

The former neighbourhood watchman claims he shot and killed the teenager in self defence. He’s charged with second-degree murder.
