George Zimmerman is back in police custody after a judge ordered him Friday to return to jail. The neighbourhood watchman accused of killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin had his bond revoked after prosecutors claimed he lied to the court about how much money he had access to.
Prosecutors also alleged he failed to hand over a second passport, making him a flight risk.
Zimmerman was in custody Sunday afternoon, about 40 minutes before the court-mandated 2:30 p.m. deadline, the AP reported.
