George W. Bush Impersonator Steve Bridges Dies At Age 48

Steve Bridges the comedian has died at age 48 according to a report from the Chicago Tribune

Bridges had recently returned home from China, where he had been performing, said his brother Phillip. He appeared to have died of natural causes. An an autopsy is scheduled, but the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said foul play was not suspected.

Bridges was a frequent guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno known for his eerily good impressions. 

Bridges experienced a career-Renaissance during the George W. Bush presidency. Here are two of his best performances as the former-president.

Bridge’s Obama impression–which involved the use of makeup to darken his skin but wasn’t at all a “minstrel” act – wasn’t as successful. Sources close to Mr. Bridges confirmed that Obama had no problem with Bridges’ routine and impression.
