Some Lucky Bidder Just Paid $2,500 To See George Soros In His Workout Shorts

Hedge fund titan and noted philanthropist George Soros was quite the attraction this weekend in The Hamptons.

And it’s all thanks to his son, Alexander. The younger Soros, who headlines a variety of philanthropic initiatives, hosted a charity auction on Saturday evening to benefit the human rights operation Global Witness, Bloomberg reported this morning

One package, that went for $2,500, was a membership to the Manhattan’s exclusive Sitaras Gym where Soros and son work out.

Other than getting to see Soros in his gym shorts (a jab made by 26-year-old Alexander), other auctions included a lunch for four with economist Nouriel Roubini at Daniel Boulud’s DBGB ($2,500) and a backstage Visit with Justin Bieber ($1,000).

Justin Bieber versus George Soros, it’s a tough call.
