GarageBand For Mac Now Supports iPad Project Files

With a new update released today, you can now move music projects back and forth between your iPad and your Mac.The GarageBand update (6.0.2) should’ve been released on the iPad 2’s launch day, but it’s better late than never.

Universal compatibility between the Mac version and the iPad version was showcased during the iPad 2 launch announcement, and enables users to work on projects via touch or with a mouse and keyboard.

GarageBand is $4.99 in the App Store.
