Now you can circumvent the studio system with your iPhone or iPod — GarageBand has gone universal and is no longer an iPad-specific app.The update happened today, so now anyone with an iDevice can get busy working on the next hit album.

The app is $4.99 if you haven’t already purchased it. If you have, then just update it!
