Here's our first look at the sinister 'Game of Thrones' season 5 poster

The first poster for “Game of Thrones” season 5 has been unveiled.

The official artwork shows Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) overlooking the prow of a boat as he is overshadowed by one of the fearsome dragons belonging to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clark).

If you’ll recall, Tyrion was fleeing Westeros on a boat destined for Essos, and it looks like Season 5 could begin with Tyrion still aboard the vessel. While we don’t know for certain which dragon is featured in the poster, the books suggest the dragon is likely none other than Drogon.

“Game of Thrones” season 5 returns to HBO and HBO GO on April 12th. If you’d like to get a glimpse of what is coming up in season 5, you can watch the official trailer below.
