The next generation of Samsung Galaxy S smartphones may arrive as early as April, according to sources at ZDNet Korea. The publication reportedly received confirmation from Cheil Worldwide, Samsung’s marketing and advertising agency that the Samsung Galaxy S III will launch next month despite not appearing at this week’s Mobile World Congress.

Samsung’s new flagship phone is rumoured to have quad-core processor as well as its ever increasing screen size of 4.8-inch that is capable of playing full 1080p HD video.

The device is also rumoured to launch in 50 major markets simultaneously, meaning Android lovers in the United States may be able to own a Galaxy S III roughly the same time it premieres in Europe and Asia.
