A French pilot just crossed the English Channel in a flying car

French pilot, Bruno Vezzoli, managed to cross the English Channel in a flying car.

The single-seat dune buggy – named Pegasus – made the 60km journey from an abandoned runway in France, landing in Dover, England. The car was fitted with a propeller and parachute which helped it fly through the air.

It can reach a maximum speed of 80km/h at an altitude of 3,000 metres.
