President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are set to square off in the first head-to-head matchup of the campaign with a debate Wednesday night at the University of Denver in Colorado.
The debate will focus on domestic issues, with particular attention devoted to the economy. Three of the debate’s six 15-minute segments will centre on the economy. One segment will be devoted to each of the topics of health care, governing and the “role of government.”
With that in mind, here’s a look at what the candidates will likely be talking about within those topics:
