A Large Fire Has Broken Out In Jersey City

A large fire broke out in Jersey City early this afternoon.

Eyewitness News reports that two three-story apartment buildings on Bramhall Avenue are engulfed in flames.  Firefighters are on the scene.

According to CBS New York, a firefighter was taken away from the scene with injuries after falling from one-story.

Meanwhile, an elderly man in a wheelchair was killed in the fire, CBS New York reported citing a 1010 WINS report.

The black smoke from the flames can be seen across the Hudson River in New York City.
