Early this morning, the Nevada finally finished counting the results of their caucuses.Why did it take nearly two days? The ballots were handwritten.
We all knew Romney would be the clear winner and Santorum would come in dead last. It wasn’t clear where Paul and Gingrich would land.
Mitt Romney 50 per cent.
Newt Gingrich 21 per cent
Ron Paul 19 per cent
Rick Santorum 10 per cent.
It was a very depressed turnout compared to four years ago. Only 32,963 people participated this year, down from the nearly 44,000 last time.
