Oh the horror! What could drive man to commit such an unthinkable, pernicious act against a heavenly machine?
Rajinder Singh, a property developer living in Scotland, wish he knew the answer to this question. Last month a masked ruffian was caught on camera attacking Singh’s Ferrari 612 Scaglietti with an axe as it sat at a workshop waiting for repair. Then, as an automotive coup de grace, the attacker stabbed the tires with a knife before sauntering away. Cold blooded, we know.
The Scaglietti, which Singh bought for $321,000, suffered approximately $62,000 in damages from the attack. Singh himself has little recourse in the matter. He told the Daily Record that police inquiries yielded no leads. For now, let’s pour out a bottle of high-grade motor oil for the beautiful Scaglietti.
