Over the past month, devastating earthquakes have rocked Northern Italy, killing 17 and injuring around 350 more.Even though Ferrari has halted production due to the quakes, they are making an effort to raise funds for the relief effort.
The 599XX Evo is a rolling testbed for all of Ferrari’s latest and greatest technology. Normally, the car sells for $1.6 million and the owners never even get to take it home. Instead, Ferrari keeps the car in Italy, maintains it, and then takes it to race tracks for the owners to go for a drive.
In addition to the 599XX, Ferrari will also be donating merchandise from the F1 team, even including a V8 engine from an F1 car.
The auction will start in the next few days on the Ferrari Store website.
