February ISM Comes In Just Barely Ahead Of Expectations

The number: 61.4 is slightly better than expectations of 60.5, but since we’ve had such good regional ISM numbers there may be some disappointment about this.

Background: The first big report of the month! Analysts are expecting a 60.5 reading, but since we’ve had a series of strong regional Fed manufacturing reports, several are expecting a much bigger number.
