When a “Fast and the Furious” movie comes to shoot in your hometown, some pretty cool things can happen.
“Fast 8,” the latest instalment in the hugely popular franchise, is currently filming in Cleveland, doubling as New York. For locals, it’s impossible not to notice its presence.
Cleveland resident Kasey Crabtree was hanging out in her friend’s apartment when she saw this:
“That was so cool!” Crabtree screams at the end of the video.
She says her reaction was completely authentic.
“You just don’t see flying cars everyday!” Crabtree said.
Other Cleveland residents have been capturing bits and pieces of “Fast 8” filming around the city, though nobody has seen Vin Diesel and The Rock in the wild, though.
“Fast 8” comes out in theatres on April 14, 2017. Until then, this clip should hold you over:
