Swedish fast fashion retailer, H&M, has confirmed it will open a flagship store in Sydney’s Pitt St Mall on October 31.

The outlet is the brand’s second store in Sydney following the opening of H&M at Macquarie Centre in North Ryde last October.

The 150 Pitt St Mall location will span across 5000sqm, three levels high — one of the biggest H&M stores in the world.

Along with the standard apparel and accessories range for men and women, the store will also stock its H&M kids and home lines too.

It’s the sixth H&M store in Australia with two in Queensland, one in Melbourne and another in Western Australia.

Australia is the Swedish brand’s fastest growing market, with sales tripling to $78.43 million in the first half of the year.

In June H&M announced it would be hiring an extra 1000 staff as part of its local expansion. Read more about it here.
