One of our biggest problems with Facebook’s mobile app is that it’s nearly impossible to shoot and upload a new photo without lurching through a bunch of different screens and options. The latest update to Facebook’s Android app fixes that.

Now Facebook includes a separate “Camera” app that lets you shoot and upload your photos directly to Facebook. You no longer have to dig through the main app’s menus.

All you do is shoot, tag (optional), and write a caption (also optional) and your snapshot goes off to your Facebook page.

By the way, you also get Facebook’s Messenger app in the new update.

You can get the latest version of Facebook for Android here.
