This Is How You'll Be Using Facebook On Your iPhone In A Few Months

Facebook integration will be a key feature in iOS 6 once Apple releases the mobile operating system this fall.We’ve been playing around with the beta version of the software, and decided to give you a look at how Facebook works on the iPhone now that it’s baked in.

First, you'll need to log into Facebook. Open the Settings app to get started.

Scroll down a bit and select Facebook.

You iPhone will update your address book with your contacts' Facebook photos and other information...

Here's what it looks like.

After that, scroll down for more options. You can elect to switch Calendar and Contacts sharing on or off.

You can also choose to receive push notifications for certain events.

Your Facebook friends' birthdays can show up in your Calendar app if you want. You can also view regular Facebook events.

Here you can see all the event details. You can also view who RSVP'd to the event.

You can post an update to Facebook from the Notifications centre. Let's try it!

You also have the option to update your status from a location.

We'll choose Business Insider's HQ.

You can also select who you want to see your update.

If you want to share a link on Safari, tap the share button in the middle of the task bar.

Here are your sharing options. We'll go with Facebook.
