Facebook Hiring Has Slowed For Now

Capstone Investment analyst Rory Maher pays very close attention to the job listings of the companies he covers, including Facebook.He says Facebook job listings on LinkedIn were down during this year’s second quarter from 106 to 70.

Facebook seems to be slowing its hiring in sales in particular. Maher says that jobs in product development at Facebook have suprassed openings in sales.

Of the sales positions that are open, more of them are “focused on premium brand advertising,” says Maher. He notes that Facebook seems like it is building a premium sales group in LA.
