Facebook went down for some users on Friday.
Thousands of bewildered users from across North America and Europe flocked to Down Detector, a website that monitors app and website outages, to flag the issue. Multiple people in Business Insider’s New York and San Francisco newsrooms were also unable to connect.
It now appears to be working normally again.
In a statement, a Facebook spokesperson said: “Earlier today, a technical issue caused some people to have trouble connecting to Facebook and it has since been resolved.”
