Ezekiel Elliott granted injunction, will likely play entire 2017 season

A U.S. District Court judge has granted a preliminary injunction of Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension in a motion filed by the NFL Players’ Association, according to Austin Knoblauch of NFL.com.

The U.S. District Court in eastern Texas will now review the NFLPA’s petition to have Elliott’s suspension voided and to decide if the case moves to trial.

There is no timetable for the decision, however according to Ian Rapoport, it is now likely that Elliott will play the entire 2017 season as the case makes it way through the courts.

This is a developing story.
