You’d think she’d learn after getting convicted last year of 275 felonies.A California doctor who was busted in 2009 for illegally obtaining prescription drugs on 131 separate occasions might have to do more time for allegedly using another doctor’s name to get a prescription.
Lisa Barden was arrested Saturday when she allegedly used another doctor’s name to obtain her prescription but paid for the medicine using a personal check, The Press-Enterprise reported.
Pharmacy employees remembered previously seeing Barden in the store and became suspicious and notified police.
Early last year, Barden was reportedly sentenced to seven years and eight months of incarceration. She was only required to serve 332 days.
Barden was also fined nearly $50,000, and ordered not to practice medicine for three years, The Press-Enterprise reported.
Her rap sheet also includes convictions for identity theft, possession of a controlled substance, burglary, and falsifying or forging a prescription.
