We love Evernote. It’s one of the most useful apps ever and perfect for keeping track of your to-do list across all of your mobile devices.

And it just got better.

Evernote has completely overhauled it’s iPhone app, making it easier to create and share your text, photo, and audio notes.

Our favourite feature is the new “snippet” view which shows a brief portion of your notes or images in the main menu. It makes it much easier to figure out which note your looking for.

We tested out the new version of Evernote today. Check out our walk through of the new features. If you don’t have it yet, you can download Evernote for free here.

Evernote's icon is still the same. Tap to open.

Here's what the snippets in Evernote look like. It's a much better layout than the last version of the app.

The Tags tab lets you view your notes by category.

The Search tab lets you search for notes.

The Notebooks tab shows you all your notebooks. These are synced with your computer and the web-based version of Evernote.

Tapping the blue plus sign opens up a new note. The new menu is nice. You can tag your note by location, add a photo, or record audio.

Here's what it looks like when your new note is added. The snippet of the photo shows up to the right.
