European Stocks Are Flat As Global Rally Takes A Break


Stock markets across Europe are mixed early in the trading session.

Britain’s FTSE 100 is down 0.3%.

Germany’s Dax 30 is up 0.1%.

France’s CAC 40 is flat.

Spain’s IBEX 35 is up 0.2%.

Italy’s FTSE MIB is down 0.4%.

Commodities trading giant Glencore is in talks to merge with mining company Xstrata. Shares of both companies are soaring.

Otherwise it’s pretty quiet in Europe.
