European Markets Open With Swift Declines Across The Board

And Europe is open, and all the big indices are lower, as to be expected, considering the carnage in Japan (and to a lesser extent the rest of Asia).The CAC-40 is down 2.1%.

The IBEX is down a bit less — around 1.55%.

Germany is down a bit worse.
