UPDATE (6:10 AM)
Europe’s markets are giving back this morning’s gains.  However, it isn’t exaclty a disaster.England’s FTSE 100 is down 0.1%.

France’s CAC 40 is down 0.5%.

Germany’s Dax is down 0.6%.

Spain’s IBEX 35 is up 0.9%.

Italy’s FTSE MIB is down 0.8%.

EARLIER (4:20 AM)
European markets are trading pretty calmly, but up, for the first time in a while.

England’s FTSE 100 is up 0.6%.

France’s CAC 40 is up 0.6%.

Germany’s Dax is up 0.8%.

Spain’s IBEX 35 is up 1.3%.

Italy’s FTSE MIB is up 1.0%.

But things have a nasty habit of turning on a dime in Europe.  We’ll be keeping out eyes on the European bond markets.
