Euro Barely Moves After Merkozy Says Solution To Debt Crisis Is Near

The euro has inched up to $1.3390.  This comes hours after German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicholas Sarkozy pledged to have a resolution to the Eurozone debt crisis by the end of the month.

However, the euro is nowhere near its Friday levels above $1.35, which quickly disappeared after Fitch downgraded Spain and Italy.
