Employees Are Confident About The Job Market, But Not About Their Salaries

Those who are unemployed are more optimistic about their job hunt than they were three months ago, but for people who already have jobs, their hopes of getting a raise in the next 12 months has dwindled.

According to a survey released today by Glassdoor, this confidence in the job market is actually the highest it’s been in th past three years.

Although employees are more optimistic about their jobs, they are aware their companies have a long way to go before getting back to pre-recession levels.

Workers are slightly less optimistic about getting a raise in the next 12 months compared to how they felt just three months ago. However, women are slightly more confident than men about the possibility of a raise.
