An Emirates test flight over Germany got a little festive when the pilot of the A380 traced the outline of a Christmas tree in the skies.
Live flight tracking website Flightradar24 charted the aircraft’s path through the skies above Europe.
The jet took off from Hamburg’s Finkenwerder airport at 12.47pm local time and arrived back by 4.35pm.
The flight went south, as far as Stuttgart, and even took the time to trace out the little baubles on the tree.

It’s definitely a far family-friendlier version than the pilot who traced a penis-shaped flightpath over Auckland in the name of cancer awareness.
