Electronic Arts COO Kicks Zynga While Its Down

Peter Moore, the chief operating officer of Electronics Arts, told Bloomberg West on Wednesday that it has experienced some slowdown in social gaming growth, but he suggested this slowdown doesn’t hurt EA nearly as much as Zynga’s slowdown hurts its business.

“To use, if you will, an Olympic analogy, we’re competing in the decathlon and if we miss in one event, we’ve got nine others we can make up on,” Moore said in the interview. “Zynga is running a marathon. They just hit the wall and dropped to their knees.”
