On CNBC, Donald Trump just made an argument we frequently hear from liberals is that we shouldn’t be spending our money on overseas wars, but rather spending it on domestic infrastructure.As he put it directly: We’re spending billions rebuilding Iraq, and it’s likely to end up in Iran.
But if we can spend billions in Iraq, why can’t we fill potholes that blight American roads.
Right after he said it, he made a point about how he was pro-military, and conservative on spending, but really, that’s the exact argument about we’ve heard from Occupy Wall Street activists before.
