Australia chain Domino’s is launching a new premium range – think more expensive pizzas with better toppings – and has come up with the ultimate way to entice customers to spend nearly three times more than the company’s “value” range: giving away 10,000 pizzas for free.
At $16.90 each, that works out at $169,000 worth of pizza.
The new premium range features more than a dozen different styles from four cheese to “mega meatlovers” and several types of chicken toppings, including peri peri, tandoori, and fajita, with camembert or feta, or a “creamy chicken carbonara”, with the ability to add plenty of extras.
Domino’s also launched what it calls “premium sides” such as chicken nuggets and cheesy garlic bread as part of the “Quality Fresh” range on Monday.
Domino’s CEO Nick Knight said all up there are 20 new pizzas and sides rolling out over 20 weeks.
To score on of the new premium pizzas for free, you need to visit the Domino’s Facebook page after 4pm AEST today, Aug 9, hand over your details and Domino’s will send you a code you have until until Sunday to use.
“You don’t have to queue up outside our stores to be able to receive your free pizza; Domino’s likes to make our customer’s lives easier, so without leaving the comfort of your own home, you can download a code online to enjoy this giveaway,” Knight said.
“We are really proud of every one of our new premium pizzas, which is why we’re giving customers the opportunity to try any of our new premium range; they are larger and have noticeably more toppings, making them fantastic value for a premium product.”
Especially when they’re free.
