Here's Everything You Missed From Novak Djokovic's Epic Comeback Win At The French Open

Novak Djokovic narrowly avoided a huge upset at the hands of hometown-kid Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at the French Open today.He faced four match points, a decidedly pro-Tsonga crowd, and a gruelling four hours of action after going five sets just two days ago.

If you were at work or just didn’t catch the match, you missed a huge comeback, a cameo from Novak’s super-intense girlfriend, and a downright epic match.

Tsonga is French, hence the rowdy support from the crowd when he took a 40-15 lead at 5-4 in the fourth set and had two match points

Novak wasn't necessarily playing badly, Tsonga was just playing better

On the first match point, Djokovic hit a beautiful running drop-shot past Tsonga

After two-straight points, Djokovic pulled even at 5-5. Uncharacteristically, he showed no emotion

Tsonga held serve as he had done all day, and once again he was within one game of a massive upset

At 6-5, Tsonga earned another match point with a lovely backhand passing shot with Novak at the net

But once again Djokovic easily staved off a match point, and Jo-Willy was left scratching his head

Novak finally brought out a mini-fist pump

Once the tiebreaker hit, so did the rain

Novak went up 2-0 in the tiebreaker, but coughed up the next three points

The French were subdued by the rain

So was Tsonga, he quickly fell in a 6-4 hole

Novak went to the full fist-pump once he tied the match at two-sets each. To the fifth set we go!

The energy dipped significantly after Tsonga failed to close out the Djoker in the fourth. Even the fans left

Jo-Willy changed shirts, but it was no use

Novak got an early break, and sprinted out to a commanding 3-0 lead in the fifth

Tsonga made it 3-1, but he appeared to be out of gas after that

Four hours of tennis

When Tsonga was fading, Novak starting flying. He took a 5-1 lead

FINALLY, ESPN2 gave some screen time to Jelena Ristic — Novak's perpetually nervous girlfriend

This is literally the calmest we've ever seen her

Novak locked it up at 6-1, and the epic match ended with an anticlimactic fifth set

Jelena was excited

But Jo-Willy was devastated, shedding tears after the match

The Djoker now takes on Federer is a rematch of last year's match-up
