In January of this year, a duffel bag was left on the baggage claim at Atlanta’s Hartfield-Jackson International Airport. This happens all the time. But the bags aren’t typically filled with over half a million dollars in drugs.

According to Gizmodo, three Delta employees returning from Mexico City forgot a bag with over $600,000 worth of meth and heroin on the baggage claim.

That wasn’t a smart move.

The trio involved has been indicted on drug smuggling charges. If they are found guilty, they could face life in prison and a fine of up to $10 million. Yikes.
