An Alleged DC Bank Robber Tried To Escape Police Using The Metro

A man who allegedly robbed a bank in Washington, D.C. was arrested by police on Friday after he boarded the metro in an attempt to flee, The Washington Post reported.After allegedly robbing a Wells Fargo bank on K Street, Scott Lee Feuer, 57, got on a train bound for Silver Spring. At the request of the police, Metro Transit Police halted train traffic until Feuer was located and arrested.

According to police, Feuer gave a bank teller a note and was given an undisclosed amount of money.

He has been charged with robbery fear, according to WUSA.
