David Willets, who is minister of universities and sciences in the UK, has blamed the slowing of working class men’s progress up the socio-economic ladder on women, according to The Telegraph. His comments suggest that feminism has been a key cause for 40-years of class stagnation in the UK.

Willetts, who is nicknamed “two brains,” has previously argued in a book that class divides had been widened due to women becoming more educated, entering the work place, and marrying men of similar type.
