Cyber Monday is here.

While it marks the Monday following the US holiday of Thanksgiving, and is promoted by online retailers as a day for exceptional bargains, it can also be considered as the hangover sales event of Black Friday.

The reason for this is that most Australians don’t know about today’s mega sales event, according to McCrindle.

And most Aussie retailers use the four-day period from Black Friday, last Friday, as an extended sales event.

However, whatever the day, 1 in 3 Australians (34%) agree they will definitely be looking out for stores offering discounts, particularly now that it’s the lead-up to Christmas.
