New York Yankee Curtis Granderson Uses Rebecca Black's "Friday" As His Opening Day At Bat Music

Last week, Yankee centre fielder Curtis Granderson made a video with NY comedy troupe 12 Angry Mascots, where he agonized over picking the music that would introduce him for his At Bats this season.

He skips over several poor choices, before Rebecca Black’s viral smash “Friday” reduces him to tears. Watch:

Well today, Granderson had his first at bat of the real baseball season and true to his word (sorta), the Yankee Stadium PA played Rebecca Black as he strutted to the plate.

Listen very closely, and you might be able to make it out in the background.

It’s hard to tell, but we think he may have switched to another song for his next AB.
