Former ESPN college football analyst Craig James could have made hundreds of millions of dollars as a business partner with Mark Cuban, but missed his opportunity, the Dallas Morning News reports.James said he was approached by Cuban to invest in what became Broadcast.com four years before he Cuban sold it for $5.9 billion in Yahoo! stock.
The deal fell through because of disagreements between Cuban and the advisers of one of James’ partner.
James would have taken a 10 per cent stake.
He’s now (not so successfully) running for senate in Texas.
