WHEW: Construction Spending Comes In Line With Expectations

September construction spending climbed 0.2% month-over-month, which was just a tad lower than the estimate of 0.3%.Last months figure was revised up to 1.6%, up from last month’s already surprising reading of 1.4%.

Construction spending in August was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $787.2 billion, which is down 1.3% from a year ago.
